Resident Evil 5 Remake in sight?
A leak may have come from the ESRB

Resident Evil 5 debuted on PS3 and Xbox 360 in March 2009: since then, a lot of water has passed under the bridge, and Capcom's adventure has returned to shelves twice, in addition to various conversions, in 2010 with the Gold Edition and in 2016 with the Remastered. Now, according to some, Capcom is about to create a Remake, just as it did with Resident Evil 4 – which we Reviewed.
The rumor slipped online due to the US classification board ESRB, the overseas equivalent of the European PEGI, which listed Resident Evil 5 as an Xbox Series X/S title, also indicating the presence of DLC and paid content. The entry in question, reported by Kotaku, is now no longer accessible, a sign that the publication was probably made erroneously ahead of time.

This report "ties in" with a small preview published by voice actress Eva La Dare, who recently stated on her X profile that she had done some work she couldn't talk about, but accompanied the post with the tags for Resident Evil 30th Anniversary and Resident Evil 5. Rather unusually, some insiders like Dusk Golem have come forward to deny the possibility of such an announcement, promising instead the Remake of another beloved chapter of the saga, namely Code Veronica.
Obviously, Capcom remains silent. In all this, we remind you that tomorrow evening at 11:00 PM, Sony will broadcast a new State of Play podcast: it would potentially be a very valid showcase for an announcement of this caliber.
All we can do is wait...
