The Sinking City 2 Gets an Update and a New Demo
We return to wander the semi-submerged city
The Ukrainian studio Frogwares has released patch 1.1.0 for The Sinking City 2, a major free update with over 150 assorted fixes and improvements. Among the most significant new features, we highlight the introduction of HDR support on all platforms and PlayStation 5 Pro support, with PSSR. Gameplay has been updated and the combat system refined. Additionally, there are two new costumes for the protagonist Calvin: The Warlock and The King in Yellow.
The Sinking City 2 Demo
Frogwares has also prepared a demo for The Sinking City 2, which allows players to try the initial stages of the game, exploring the library of Miskatonic University (you had figured it was a Lovecraftian game, right?) in search of an occult book. On Steam, the demo save file can be transferred to the full version if purchased. If you are not yet familiar with this survival horror, it's worth trying, and we explain why in our review.
