Super Robot Wars Y Updates with Patch 1.3 and Expansion Pack
News is on the horizon for Bandai Namco's giant robots
With Super Robot Wars Y, Bandai Namco offered users an experience that stays true to the series' standards and relies on its traditional strengths: a well-written story, endless interactions and special moves, and dozens upon dozens of hours of entertainment designed specifically for lovers of Japanese robots. Patch 1.3
Today, April 21st, Super Robot Wars Y updates to patch 1.3. This free update, in addition to various technical improvements, introduces additional missions: Revol. War, a 3-episode scenario that serves as a prequel to the main campaign, and Noah Brand’s Battles, another 3-episode scenario, which takes place before chapter 7. The patch also makes the limited-time missions Visitors from Another World and The Weight of Purpose available.
The Expansion Pack
The release of the Expansion Pack: Infinite Dimensions is set for tomorrow: this paid DLC will introduce a whopping 26 Area Missions to Super Robot Wars Y, plus the bonus mission Expansion Pack Purchase Bonus. There will also be 8 new playable units and a new Assist Crew member. A further addition is the Master difficult mode. The first chapter of the Expansion Pack, "Contact", can be freely tried even without purchasing it.
