JBL Cinema SB MK2, New Soundbars for Home Cinema

JBL renews its Home Cinema offering with the Cinema SB MK2 series, comprising 4 soundbars designed for different price points. The SB595MK2 model tops the range with 440 Watts, a 6.5" wireless subwoofer, and a 3.1.2 configuration with "True Dolby Atmos".

Following that is the SB580MK2, also with 440 Watts and a 6.5" wireless subwoofer, but in a 3.1 configuration. The SB550MK2 drops to 360 Watts and uses a 5.25" wireless subwoofer, while the SB510MK2 offers 200 Watts with an integrated subwoofer.

Surround Sound Comes from Portable Speakers

The most interesting new feature of the new family is SurroundPlay, a technology that allows a pair of compatible JBL speakers to be used as wireless rear channels. At launch, the system supports JBL Flip 7, transforming two already available speakers into a surround extension without adding cables to the room.

All models also feature Bluetooth, Auracast, and a dedicated center channel. The SB595MK2 and SB580MK2 offer HDMI IN and HDMI eARC, while the SB550MK2 and SB510MK2 feature HDMI ARC.

The range will be available from October 2026. Prices start from 199.99 euros for the SB510MK2 and go up to 449.99 euros for the SB595MK2.
