Stellar Blade Teases with New Bayonetta Costumes
The acclaimed Korean action game releases on Nintendo Switch 2
Stellar Blade and Bayonetta, in addition to being excellent action franchises, have another element in common: they have been much discussed (and sometimes unfairly dismissed) for the sexualization of their female protagonists. We addressed the topic in a special feature. After crossing paths with other video games, a crossover with Bayonetta seemed inevitable for the work of the Korean studio Shift Up.
Stellar Blade x Bayonetta
Starting November 5, the PlayStation 5 and PC versions of Stellar Blade receive 4 costumes based on Bayonetta:
- Couture Bullet - Bayonetta
- Couture Bullet - Nun
- Couture Bullet - Jeanne
- Couture Bullet - Black Tresses
The new costumes are available for free, despite the rule that Stellar Blade's crossover content with other franchises should be paid content. Also starting November 5, Stellar Blade arrives on Nintendo Switch 2, and we explain how it runs on the new platform in our review.
