Summer Game Fest unveils the sequel to the acclaimed action game
Another big announcement from Summer Game Fest comes from the Korean studio Shift Up, which uses the event to show the world the anticipated sequel to Stellar Blade. The second chapter of the action franchise is called Stellar Blade: Blood Rain and features significant changes from its predecessor, starting with the protagonist: Eve has passed the torch to Evie (yes, we know, they aren't very imaginative with names).
Stellar Blade: Blood Rain will continue the story of its predecessor, and the announcement trailer shows us a metropolis that feels very cyberpunk. The combat system is also glimpsed, which appears to be characterized by the same frenetic, combo-based action that was so popular in the first game.
