Resident Evil Requiem: The New Trailer from State of Play
Another look at the highly anticipated survival horror
Resident Evil Requiem will be released in fifteen days, it is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated titles of 2026 and among its platforms is PlayStation 5: its presence at State of Play was almost a given. The new trailer hints at some story elements: a series of survivors from Raccoon City who have been mysteriously killed, an unsettling medical laboratory, and... other details, which we would prefer not to reveal now.
As you may have guessed, the trailer is a bit spoiler-heavy: we're sharing it below, you decide whether or not to watch it. In addition to the story hints, there's also plenty of action, with creatures of sick design being faced by Leon. Resident Evil Requiem is set for release on February 27, 2026; in addition to PlayStation 5, you'll also find it on Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
