Mewgenics Releases Tomorrow: The Animated Trailer

The project we are about to discuss was announced back in 2012 and has undergone a troubled development: at one point it was even canceled, before its author took back the reins. This author is Edmund McMillen, an American game designer who previously created highly acclaimed titles such as Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Isaac; for this occasion, McMillen was assisted by Tyler Glaiel.

What is Mewgenics

Mewgenics (previously known as Mew-Genics) is a turn-based tactical game with roguelite mechanics, where you lead a team of mutant cats to victory in isometric battles. To triumph, planning and careful positioning of your units will be necessary. The felines can not only be equipped with countless tools, but also bred and selected, obtaining increasingly strange mutations, but more effective in combat.

Where and When Mewgenics Releases

If we can count you among McMillen's many fans, know that you will have to wait very little to get your hands on his next work: Mewgenics will be launched tomorrow, Tuesday, February 10. You will find this game on PC, via Steam. The release was anticipated by a curious animated trailer, which we share with you below.
