Mina the Hollower Releases Today: Launch Trailer

The American studio Yacht Club Games, already known for Shovel Knight, announces the release of its new work: Mina the Hollower, available starting today, May 29, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, and PC (Steam, GOG, Humble Store), accompanied by the launch trailer you see below. From the trailer, it's clear that 2D The Legend of Zelda games are among the major sources of inspiration for this title.

But not just Zelda, because the minimalist aesthetic and sound of this action/adventure take us back to the era of 8-bit video games. The protagonist, Mina, is a Hollower who seeks to save a cursed island: a story with horror undertones, tempered by a vibrant pixel art representation. To succeed in her endeavor, Mina must defeat monsters using her trusty whip, or by relying on an assortment of other weapons.
