Godzilla Minus Zero - New Trailer Reveals King Ghidorah

King Ghidorah will be the main adversary in Godzilla Minus Zero. The final trailer for the film directed by Takashi Yamazaki shows the famous monster for the first time, confirming a presence that promises to change the balance of the Godzilla Minus One sequel.
The new preview is accompanied by some of the first international critical reactions, which enthusiastically welcomed the atomic monster's return to the big screen. Among the reported judgments are definitions such as "a truly epic cinematic endeavor" and "one of the best sequels ever made."
A New Threat to Post-War Japan
Written and directed again by Yamazaki, who also handled the visual effects, Godzilla Minus Zero is set in 1949, two years after the events of the previous chapter. Japan is still trying to rebuild the country after the devastation caused by the war and Godzilla's attack. When a new threat emerges, hopes of returning to normalcy are once again dashed.
This is also the first Japanese film shot in IMAX. This is a forward-thinking choice that aims to enhance the spectacle's dimensions on the big screen, offering images conceived to exploit the greater vertical amplitude of the image. The release date in Italian cinemas has been postponed from November 5 to November 12, 2026; the film will be available dubbed in Italian as well as in the original Japanese version with subtitles.
