The second trailer for Godzilla Minus Zero shows Kōichi and Noriko grappling with the monster's return, in a Japan that in 1947 is still trying to recover from the devastation of the first attack. The new sequences anticipate an even more destructive confrontation, with Godzilla's atomic ray at the center of some of the most spectacular images.

Directed by Takashi Yamazaki, who also helmed Godzilla Minus One, the film brings back Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe as Kōichi and Noriko. The story is set 2 years after the events of the previous chapter: the family tries to protect their fragile daily life, but a new appearance of Godzilla changes every perspective.

Godzilla Faces an Even Greater Threat

The images suggest that the new chapter will further expand the scope of the conflict, hinting at a danger capable of testing even the monster. The trailer focuses primarily on the catastrophic dimension of the story, without sacrificing the emotional connection with the characters.

Presented in its world premiere at the New York Film Festival on September 26, the film received a standing ovation. Yamazaki also returns after winning an Oscar for visual effects in 2024 with Godzilla Minus One. Godzilla Minus Zero will arrive in Italian cinemas and IMAX from November 12, distributed by Plaion Pictures, also in original subtitled version. A national preview is scheduled at Lucca Comics & Games on October 31.
