Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon – New Horror Metal Trailer

Blood returns to flood the scene and electric guitars scream louder than ever: Jason Lei Howden is officially back with Deathgasm 2: Goremageddon, a sequel that extreme metal fans have been waiting for for almost ten years. The trailer confirms the return of Brodie, played by Milo Cawthorne, ready to resurrect his band even if many of the original members remain six feet under from the first adventure.

Quickly becoming a cult classic thanks to its mix of gore, black comedy, and metal spirit, the 2015 film had captivated fans of the splatter genre, recalling Peter Jackson's early works and the irreverence of Sam Raimi's Evil Dead.

The return of gore-metal with a black comedy twist

The promise now seems to be to surpass every limit with more blood, more chaos, and a devastating soundtrack that includes legends like Anvil, GWAR, Sanguisugabogg, Alien Weaponry, Havok, and Frozen Soul, as well as original tracks composed by Matthew Kiichi Heafy of Trivium.

The cast will see the return of James Joshua Blake, Sam Berkley, and Daniel Cresswell, joined by newcomers ready to be thrown into the grinder. The world premiere will take place at Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, a perfect setting for a film that aims to be an anthem to outsiders and the metal community.
