Perceptum: New Psychological Horror Announced, Arriving Spring 2027
An empty house, a missing family, and only two tools for survival: a mirror that reveals the invisible and the gift of perceiving sounds with closed eyes. PS5, Xbox, and PC in 2027.
If you missed the pre-show of Gamescom's opening night, you might have missed the presentation of a psychological horror arriving in spring 2027: Perceptum. The title will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and Steam, accompanied by a new trailer that hints at the intense and oppressive atmosphere awaiting players.
The story begins with an empty house, a missing family, and a police cold case. As a Medium, players will have to investigate this seemingly silent mystery, moving through an oppressive family home armed only with a mirror capable of revealing what the naked eye cannot see, and a "gift" that allows them to perceive sounds by closing their eyes.
The gameplay is built around a balance of risk and vulnerability: hidden clues are scattered throughout the house, and with only these two mechanics available, every creak, whisper, or rustle will be felt deep within.
The atmosphere promises to be intense and claustrophobic, not for the faint of heart: the feeling of being watched, a suspicious shadow, a distant and inexplicable noise — in the house of Perceptum, you are never truly alone, and every detail deserves to be questioned.
