Forza Horizon 6 speeds onto PS5 in January, with the first expansion

Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games announce big news for Forza Horizon 6, the chapter of the racing game series set in Japan that was released last May on Xbox Series X|S and PC. The conversion for PlayStation 5, developed by Panic Button studio, finally has a release date, and not only that, because the first expansion is also on the horizon.

When does Forza Horizon 6 come out on PlayStation 5?

The release date for Forza Horizon 6 on the PlayStation 5 console has been set for January 26, 2027. Buyers of the Premium edition will be entitled to five days of early access, so they can start their engines as early as January 21. Pre-orders are open: anyone who pre-orders will receive a brand new Ferrari J50 in their garage as a gift.

Forza Horizon 6 will also be available in physical disc format (worth specifying these days…). The PlayStation 5 version supports cross-play and cross-save with other platforms. The first expansion for Forza Horizon 6

On January 21, 2027, the first expansion for Forza Horizon 6 will be released on all platforms. This additional content will be available with the Premium edition of the game at no extra cost, or it can be purchased separately. For now, we only know that the expansion should introduce a new location and additional vehicles. A second expansion is also planned for the future.
