Ruben Fleischer (Venom, Uncharted) takes the director's chair, aiming to blend spectacle, ingenuity, and that dose of unpredictability that has always made the series a cinematic magic trick.
The Plot of Now You See Me 3: Now You Don't
After the events of Now You See Me 2, the Four Horsemen are once again under the watchful eye of the Eye, the enigmatic organization that orchestrates the world's most spectacular illusions.
Danny Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg) and his team are involved in a new, almost impossible endeavor: stealing the largest diamond ever, guarded by the ruthless Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), heir to a powerful criminal dynasty.
To succeed, the group opens its doors to three new illusionists – June, Charlie, and Bosco – creating a new generation of “crime magicians.” Amidst optical illusions, global heists, and secrets destined to resurface, Now You See Me 3: Now You Don’t intertwines action and mystery with the rhythm of a magic trick, pushing the protagonists to confront their limits… and the shadows of the past.
The Cast of Now You See Me 3: Now You Don't
The new chapter reunites much of the original cast, with Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network, A Real Pain, Zombieland, The Squid and the Whale), Woody Harrelson (The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Messenger, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, True Detective, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Solo: A Star Wars Story), Dave Franco (Together, 6 Underground, The Disaster Artist), and Isla Fisher (Jay Kelly, Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy) reprising their roles as the famous illusionists Danny Atlas, Merritt McKinney, Jack Wilder, and Henley Reeves.
Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby, Street Smart, The Shawshank Redemption, Seven) also returns, reprising his role as Thaddeus Bradley, the former illusionist turned professional debunker of tricks and manipulations.
Alongside them, the saga opens its doors to a new generation of crime magicians: Justice Smith (I Saw the TV Glow, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Jurassic World Dominion, Pokémon Detective Pikachu), Dominic Sessa (The Holdovers), and Ariana Greenblatt (Stuck in the Middle, Barbie, Fear Street: Prom Queen, Borderlands, 65) play the young talents recruited by the Horsemen, ready to bring freshness and new dynamics to the group.
New additions include Rosamund Pike (Gone Girl, A Private War, I Care a Lot, Saltburn, The Wheel of Time), in the role of the sophisticated and ruthless antagonist Veronika Vanderberg.
Although Mark Ruffalo (Marvel Cinematic Universe, Poor Things!, Mickey 17, The Adam Project, Spotlight) does not appear in the initial promotional material, his presence in the film has been confirmed: a return that promises to once again intertwine illusion and justice in a game where nothing is ever as it seems.
When is Now You See Me 3: Now You Don't released?
The return of the Horsemen of magic is set for autumn 2025: Now You See Me 3: Now You Don’t will arrive in US theaters on November 14, 2025, distributed by Lionsgate, while in Italy it will debut one day earlier, on November 13, 2025.
Filming took place between late 2024 and early 2025, across international sets in Budapest, Antwerp, and Abu Dhabi. An itinerary that promises spectacular scenery and an even more ambitious aesthetic, in line with the saga's visual tradition: a mix of elegance, mystery, and global illusions that will draw the audience into a new, dizzying magic trick.
