Sapphire and the New Pure B850 Motherboards
12+2+1 VRM with silver heatsinks, PCIe 5.0 x16 and PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 slots for next-gen GPUs and SSDs

Sapphire Technology has announced the new Pure B850 motherboard series, consisting of the PureE B850A Wi-Fi (ATX) and Pure B850M Wi-Fi (micro-ATX) models. After offering B650 motherboards in China, the brand is expanding its offering by bringing a consumer line to the global market for the first time, marking an important step beyond traditional graphics cards and embedded solutions.
Both models feature an elegant polar silver and white design and are based on the AMD B850 chipset, designed for mid-to-high-end PC builders. The new motherboards support AMD Ryzen 9000 processors, including the top-of-the-line Ryzen 9 9950X and 9950X3D, as well as DDR5 memory in overclock up to 8000+ MT/s, with a maximum capacity of 192 GB across 4x DIMM slots.
Design, Power, and Hardware Versatility

Key features include a 12+2+1 VRM with silver heatsinks, 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and 1x PCIe 5.0 x4 M.2 for next-gen GPUs and SSDs, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5 connectivity, front and rear USB-C ports, and a “Pure Sound” audio system to reduce electromagnetic interference.
The most interesting new feature is the Sapphire Core BIOS, which simplifies performance adjustments: functions like PBO and EXPO can be activated with a single click from the main screen. In tests with a Ryzen R7 9700X, activating PBO increased power consumption from 87W to 150W, revealing significant power headroom.
Global pricing and availability will be announced soon.
