Lara Croft's future will soon be revealed
The Tomb Raider franchise will turn 30 in 2026, and Lara Croft, the most famous archaeologist in video game history, is about to reclaim the spotlight. The new chapter in the saga was announced three years ago: on that occasion, we learned that it would be a single-player, story-driven project, developed in Unreal Engine 5 by Crystal Dynamics, and that it was then in the early stages of development.

The wait is almost over: Geoff Keighley, via Twitter/X, revealed that during the upcoming The Game Awards 2025, the new Tomb Raider will be officially announced.
