Neon Abyss 2 Reaches Version 1.0 and Launches on Consoles

Publisher Kepler Ghost and developer Veewo Games announce the release of patch 1.0 for Neon Abyss 2, an update available starting today, October 8th. This video game was launched in July 2025 on PC, via Steam, in an early access version. Now that Neon Abyss 2 has left early access, you can also find it on consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and on Game Pass.

Neon Abyss 2 is a 2D pixel art shooter, with a cyberpunk setting and a strong tendency towards chaos, preferably in cooperative multiplayer. Patch 1.0 introduces many new features, first and foremost the brand new Storm Breach mode. Gamesurf had tested the game at the time of its early access release, noting that the formula of the first chapter had been refined, albeit with a bit too much RNG and poor balancing: we delve deeper into this in our Neon Abyss 2 preview.
