MindsEye: A Million-Dollar Conspiracy to Make It Fail?
Build a Rocket Boy claims to have proof

The protest from Build a Rocket Boy, the team behind the controversial and criticized MindsEye, shows no signs of stopping. They claim the game was somehow sabotaged.
This time, it's Mark Gerhard, co-CEO of the team alongside Benzie Leslie, who is leveling serious accusations against Ritual Network, an administrative agency managing YouTube and TikTok activities based in Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire - UK. According to Gerhard's statements reported by Insider Gaming, stemming from a staff meeting, the agency was described as "a hotbed of gangsters" who allegedly organized a defamatory campaign, investing approximately one Million Dollars in the endeavor to sink MindsEye.

In his tirade, Mark reportedly called Ritual Network "a very big American company" [...but isn't it English?...] and explicitly named YouTuber Cyber Boi as one of the main pawns in the operation. It's probably no coincidence that Cyber Boi recently had conflicts with Build a Rocket Boy regarding one of his videos, later removed following a "cease and desist," in which he reported the presence of Benzie Leslie's name in the Epstein Files.

During the meeting, Gerhard reportedly promised to fight the company, against which a lawsuit for espionage, sabotage, and criminal interference is being prepared; he also cited the presence of software named TeraMind that was allegedly installed on the SH's network without authorization.
Contacted by Kotaku, Ritual Network denied any involvement in such a conspiracy and specified that they had not received any form of complaint from Build a Rocket Boy. Furthermore, their most recent tax reports indicate an annual income of approximately 800,000 Pounds, which converts to about 920,000 Dollars – too low to afford a million-dollar defamatory campaign.
This whole affair – electronic espionage, conspiracies, sabotage, etc. – ironically are some of the main themes explored in MindsEye. Or perhaps it's not so ironic? "Since it's happening to us firsthand, I intend to use this whole story – Gerhard reportedly declared – We will use these people, these names, and these facts for our own amusement. We will put some of these names in our next espionage mission."
MindsEye, after a disastrous launch, is desperately seeking a fresh start: the agreement between Build a Rocket Boy and Publisher IO Interactive is now a dead letter, and the management of the MMO is reportedly entirely in the hands of the developers. In such a situation, it cannot be ruled out that the entire affair was orchestrated solely to increase visibility and hype around the game... but who are we to suspect?
