Horses: Steam says no, GoG says yes
The new horror from the creators of Saturnalia

Horses, the new game from the Italian software house Santa Ragione, also creators of Saturnalia, is scheduled for release tomorrow, December 2nd, but it will not be released on Steam like the authors' previous works.
Valve's digital platform has in fact rejected the project: according to statements from Gabe Newell's company, Santa Ragione's game, verified in 2023, does not comply with some of the content guidelines. Despite Steam's invitation to modify certain elements to fit within the parameters, the authors decided to continue on their own path and turned to CD Projekt RED and Good old Games.
"We're proud to give Horse a home on GOG - CDPR states as reported by IGN - giving players another way to enjoy the game. We've always believed that players should be able to choose the experiences that speak to them."
GOG has also opened pre-orders for Horses: you can find it on the dedicated page.
Horses is a horror game made with black and white graphics: the player must survive for 14 days in a stable where madness will become palpable hour after hour and where the difference between humans and equines will progressively become more and more blurred.
For Saturnalia, Santa Ragione's previous work, we have a Review.
