Darkhaven Opens Kickstarter Campaign and Releases Demo
Fundraising begins, awaiting launch

Moon Beast Productions is a Texas-based studio formed by a group of veteran developers who previously worked on the Diablo franchise. Recently, this new independent software house announced Darkhaven: we covered it in depth in this article. It's an isometric action RPG, set in a living, breathing world where civilization has collapsed. This project has now taken two important steps.
The Darkhaven Demo
Moon Beast has released a demo on Darkhaven's Steam page. This demo offers several hours of gameplay; in terms of content, it allows players to experience one character class, with a level 8 cap, plus six abilities, divided into three skill trees. The demo includes a main quest, with a specific event capable of progressively altering the world. The build is a pre-alpha version, so it does not represent the final quality of the work, it only serves to give an idea of Darkhaven's artistic direction and gameplay.

The Kickstarter Campaign
The second important step is the launch of Darkhaven's Kickstarter campaign. You can find the campaign on this page: as of this writing, over €50,000 has been raised towards a goal of €421,493 ($500,000), with 32 days remaining. We remind you that Darkhaven will be released on PC, via Steam, in early access. For now, Moon Beast's video game does not yet have a defined launch window, but it could be released towards the end of 2026.
