Dambuster Confirms Dead Island 3, Expected in 2028
A document has surfaced mentioning the new game

Dambuster Studios is the British software house based in Nottingham that took over the legacy of Techland, creating Dead Island 2. This chapter of the franchise, set in a Los Angeles ravaged by the zombie apocalypse (and renamed Hell-A for the occasion), proved to be just the right amount of fun and lighthearted, as we explain in our review. If you also enjoyed it, you might be pleased to know that there is already a new Dead Island in the works.
Dead Island 3 is in development!
Confirmation comes from a Dambuster financial report. The studio states that after the release of Dead Island 2 Ultimate Edition in October 2024, the company's priority shifted to Dead Island 3. All developers are engaged in this project, whose parts are currently in an early stage of production. The launch window is set for the first quarter of 2028, but this is an indicative date: keep in mind that the official announcement of the game hasn't even arrived yet.
