Wonder Man: Marvel and the Most Meta Miniseries in Its Universe
Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in a hall of mirrors between reality and fiction that promises to entertain and disorient

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is preparing to surprise with Wonder Man, a miniseries arriving on Disney+ in December 2025. Far from cosmic battles and time travel, this time the story will be an homage to the acting profession and the world of entertainment, with an ironic and self-reflective tone.
The absolute protagonist will be Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, who will play Simon Williams, an actor who becomes a superhero and who, in the series, even stars in a film titled Wonder Man. A hall of mirrors between reality and fiction that promises to entertain and disorient.
Marvel's Most Borderline Miniseries Ever

The cast is top-notch: Sir Ben Kingsley returns as Trevor Slattery, previously seen in Iron Man 3 and Shang-Chi, while Demetrius Grosse will be Eric Williams, a.k.a. Grim Reaper. Also featured are Ed Harris as Simon's agent, along with Lauren Glazier, Josh Gad, and other faces still shrouded in mystery. We will also see Arian Moayed again as Agent P. Clearly, strengthening ties with the MCU.
Behind the camera is Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi), with Andrew Guest (Hawkeye) as showrunner, guaranteeing action and humor. Marvel describes Wonder Man as a true "labor of love" for acting and the sacrifice of artists, ready to win over not only comic book fans but also those who love stories that play with cinema itself. (Perhaps) a breath of fresh air in the Marvel universe.
