Wolf Creek Legacy – Mick Taylor Returns to Cinema After 20 Years
The outback serial killer returns, this time targeting a family on vacation

Two decades after the first Wolf Creek, one of the most renowned Australian horror films of the 2000s, the saga is ready to return to the big screen with a new chapter. Filming has begun in South Australia for Wolf Creek Legacy, the third film dedicated to the brutal serial killer.
John Jarratt, whose face is now inextricably linked to the character, will once again return as the outback killer. The story will follow an American family traveling through the Australian outback who fall into his sights. After a violent attack, the couple's two children manage to escape, initiating a relentless hunt in the heart of the desert.

The project reunites several key figures from the saga. Greg McLean, who directed the original 2005 film, is participating in the production alongside Kristian Moliere, Bianca Martino, and Jeremy Bolt. Sean Lahiff is directing this new chapter, while Duncan Samarasinghe penned the screenplay.
The cast also includes Ditch Davey, Laura Gordon, Stacy Clausen, Charli Penton, and Anni Finsterer, joined by several emerging talents. According to McLean, this new installment promises to further expand the saga with an even darker and more brutal approach. The goal is to bring back one of modern horror cinema's most unsettling villains, ready to hunt again across the isolated expanses of the Australian outback, and perhaps settle the score once and for all.
The first film was also released on Blu-ray 2K here, but in Australia, they did even better...
The film will be distributed in North America by Cineverse and the horror label Bloody Disgusting, who have already announced their intention to bring it to theaters with a wide release. Here, we hope for at least a streaming release.
