The Witcher 3: An Online Multiplayer MOD
Up to 5 players in the same tavern

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is notoriously a single-player RPG, but in the year of our Lord 2026, it seems almost impossible for a game to be enjoyed alone, especially one as vast and varied as CD Projekt RED's title.
No sooner said than done: a new MOD created by Rejuvenate has arrived on NexusMOD, allowing a player to invite up to 4 friends – for a total of 5 participants in the session – into their world to play together. The MOD also allows players to customize the appearance of their Geralt, even using models of other characters like Ciri or Yennefer, and efficiently synchronizes animations in the other participants' view.
The MOD, simply titled The Witcher Online, is also compatible with others, such as Chill Out, which allows players to go to a tavern and spend some peaceful time chatting and drinking. However, it still has several limitations, the most important of which is that participants cannot intervene in each other's combat, defeat monsters, or complete quests. It is therefore something prototypical, created for the enjoyment of meeting in-game with friends but without being able to actually play the game.
