The Witcher 3: Songs of the Past - New Expansion Confirmed
CD Projekt Red unveils the long-awaited additional content, rumored for months

Eleven years have passed since the release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the acclaimed work by Polish studio CD Projekt Red. This title has established itself as a true benchmark in the world of video games, captivating over 60 million players; it seemed that the adventures of Geralt of Rivia had found their worthy conclusion with the Blood & Wine expansion, but the Witcher still has something to say.
The Songs of the Past Expansion
CD Projekt has announced a new expansion for The Witcher 3, called Songs of the Past. Developed in collaboration with Fool's Theory, this additional content will be released in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Once again, players will join Geralt, but further details will have to wait until late summer. To adequately run Songs of the Past, The Witcher 3's minimum PC requirements will increase: you can find the new ones on the official website.
The Blood & Wine Stream
The expansion can hardly be called a complete surprise, as several rumors had anticipated its existence as early as last year. However, the news for The Witcher 3 isn't over: tomorrow, at 5:00 PM, a special stream dedicated to Blood & Wine will be broadcast. It was originally launched on May 31, 2016, so it's about to turn 10 years old.
