Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent Has a Steam Demo
The game, based on the Descent tabletop series, will be released in spring
Publisher New Tales and developer Artefacts Studio announce the release of the demo for Terrinoth: Heroes of Descent. This video game is a turn-based tactical title that brings the universe of Descent, the fantasy board game franchise, to the screen for the first time. In Terrinoth, players will take control of one of 8 adventurers, customizable by modifying abilities and equipment.
With this adventurer, players will delve into 20 enormous dungeons with unique environments. The experience can be tackled either solo or in cooperative multiplayer with up to 4 players. Terrinoth will offer a campaign divided into four thematic chapters, each consisting of replayable missions. The story told is original and serves as a prequel to Descent: Legends of the Dark.

Terrinoth Demo Details
To coincide with Steam Next Fest, a demo of Terrinoth has been shared on PC via Steam. This demo version allows players to try out the game's prologue and the first dungeon, called The Crypts of Aerendor. Five characters will be playable: Kharaz, Cedwin, Aurta, Myria, and Veshi. Multiplayer is not available but will be present in the full game. The demo allows players to test the combat system, which aims to be deep without being bogged down by tons of rules.
