Superman: Man of Tomorrow, Controversy Over Luthor's Warsuit

New images from the set of Superman: Man of Tomorrow offer a closer look at Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor. The photographs, taken during ongoing filming in Atlanta, show the famous enemy of the Man of Steel equipped with his battlesuit while participating in a particularly action-packed sequence.

David Corenswet also appears in the shots as Superman, engaged in what appears to be one of the first physical confrontations between the two characters. The images suggest that the conflict between Clark Kent and Luthor will play a central role in the story before developments that, according to rumors circulated in recent months, could force them into an unprecedented alliance.

Lex Luthor's Armor Ignites Debate

The appearance of the so-called Warsuit has not gone unnoticed among fans. The design clearly recalls some of the most well-known versions seen in DC comics, but the leaked set photos have already generated mixed reactions. Some appreciate the choice to create a physical costume, while others, on the contrary, believe that the armor appears excessively massive in the unrefined images.

Meanwhile, speculation continues regarding Adria Arjona's involvement. Several international sources associate her with the character of Maxima, but the production has not yet officially confirmed what role she will play in the new chapter of the DC cinematic universe led by James Gunn.

The arrival of Superman: Man of Tomorrow in US theaters is currently scheduled for July 9, 2027; it's easy to imagine a similar window for Italy.
