Street Fighter Film - First Official Cast Photo Revealed
Among the faces immortalized is Olivier Richters, the giant seen in Reacher 3

Director Kitao Sakurai has shared the first official images of the cast of the new Street Fighter film online. Although the actors do not yet appear in the roles of the famous characters, excitement among fans is already sky-high.
Among the faces immortalized is Olivier Richters, the "Dutch Giant" seen in Reacher 3, whose imposing physique seems destined for the role of Zangief. There's also great curiosity for Mel Jarnson (Mortal Kombat, 2021), photographed next to Orville Peck, who plays Vega: her blonde hair immediately suggested Cammy White, although official confirmation is pending.

The rest of the cast is a surprising mix of actors, wrestlers, and international stars: Callina Liang will be Chun-Li, Cody Rhodes will play Guile, while Andrew Koji will bring the legendary Ryu to life. Two explosive names join them: Jason Momoa as Akuma and Roman Reigns as Blanka, characters that promise spectacle and intensity.
The production aims high, with the goal of doing justice to a saga that has made video game history since 1987, defining the fighting game genre and leaving an indelible mark on pop culture. After the failures of previous adaptations, fans hope that this time Hollywood will manage to respect the spirit of the series. Release set for 2026.
