Steam Deck Price Increase: Over 200 Euros More
Valve's devices have become much more expensive
These are tough times for lovers of gaming hardware. The current economic situation, particularly the RAM market crisis, is causing a surge in prices for various devices: recently, we've seen both Nintendo and Sony adjust their price lists upwards, but unfortunately, no one is safe. The American company Valve has also been forced to revise the prices of its handheld Steam Deck.
New Steam Deck Prices
- Steam Deck OLED 512 GB - price: €779 (previously €569)
- Steam Deck OLED 1 TB - price: €919 (previously €679)
Prices were taken from the official website. Valve did not go easy at all: the 512 GB model increased by €210 (+36.9%), while the 1 TB model increased by €240 (+35.3%). The problem doesn't just concern Steam Deck: after such substantial increases, there's real reason to be fearful for the price of the future Steam Machine...
