PlayStation Plus Price Increase for New Subscribers
The base plan goes up by one euro, starting tomorrow
Unfortunately, on the pages of Gamesurf, we must report yet another price increase affecting the video game sector. The decision was made by Sony, which just last month had already adjusted the prices of its consoles upwards. Now, however, PlayStation Plus is affected: starting tomorrow, the subscription service will become a bit more expensive, but only for new subscribers.
New PlayStation Plus Prices
Sony has announced that the price of PlayStation Plus will be revised due to market conditions. The Essential plan will increase to €9.99 per month, up from the €8.99 in effect until today. The quarterly Essential subscription will rise to €27.99, compared to today's €24.99. No price changes have been announced for other plans, but they are likely to follow. As mentioned, these increases come into effect tomorrow, May 20, and only apply to new subscriptions, provided that existing subscriptions are not modified or canceled.
