State of Decay 3 Unveils Gameplay During Xbox Games Showcase

With State of Decay 3, developer Undead Labs will once again take us to the American province ravaged by zombies. The world is now in collapse, but the survivors do not lose heart and continue to fight as best they can. At the Xbox Games Showcase, the first gameplay trailer was unveiled, showing us several characteristic elements of the series: shelter construction, vehicle raids, and of course, clashes with the undead.

Where and When State of Decay 3 Will Be Released

Compared to previous installments in the series, however, the combat seems to have become more brutal, with much more aggressive and dangerous enemies. Last month, Undead Labs began playtesting State of Decay 3 and has now set the game's launch window for 2027. The zombies will be unleashed on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam, Xbox PC), and from day one on the Game Pass service.
