RoadCraft: Rebuild Expansion Trailer and Details

RoadCraft is a physics-based simulation where players drive various industrial vehicles to restore disaster-stricken areas, handling all phases of the process, from debris removal to reconstructing damaged structures. This title, released last May, has just received its first expansion, called Rebuild (priced at €14.99): Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive have shared a trailer to showcase it.

The New Rebuild Maps

The expansion brings with it two new 4 km² maps. In the first, Contamination, an earthquake caused a train to derail in the middle of a forest. The train was carrying chemicals, which contaminated the area's water: it goes without saying that this water will need to be treated for remediation. In the second map, Flood, the emergency is instead an excavation site that has been submerged by floodwaters.

The New Rebuild Vehicles

In addition to the maps, the expansion also brings five new vehicles. The Vostok MU-97 "Ant" and the Tayga 6455B are two bridge layers capable of placing temporary bridges on rough terrain, allowing vehicles to reach otherwise inaccessible areas. The Armige Thunder "Expedition" and the Tuz 119 "Mutt" are two scouts, ideal for reconnoitering areas, while the Mule T1 "Trailblazer" is a vehicle with a cargo crane.
