The Alters Expands with Last Variable: Date and Details

The Alters is a sci-fi management survival game where the protagonist, Jan Dolski, is a space castaway who, to survive on a hostile planet, decides to create a series of clones of himself. The Last Variable DLC

Developer 11 Bit Studios has announced Last Variable, an expansion for The Alters releasing on July 13th, which is included at no extra cost in the Deluxe edition of the title, or can be purchased separately. This extra content, lasting approximately 20 hours, tells the story of Jan Dolski's scientist clone, who decided to remain on the planet after the others left, to study a seemingly inexplicable phenomenon.

This phenomenon is the Oasis: an area where flora thrives, despite environmental conditions that should make it impossible. To complete his study, the scientist clone will in turn create other scientist clones (physicist, chemist, biologist, geologist), which will bring back the same existential questions as the base game. In Last Variable, there will be new modules to research, technologies to develop, materials to extract, etc.
