PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC Available Today, Here's the Launch Trailer

Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced today that PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, the remake of the celebrated action platformer, is now available for PC and consoles. The remake modernizes the gameplay of the original, one of the best-selling PAC-MAN games of all time, while retaining all its charm. In the game, players will explore Pac-Land across six unique worlds to retrieve the Golden Fruit stolen by the Ghosts, facing familiar and new enemies, including challenging bosses.

PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC includes significantly improved graphics, new gameplay mechanics, new expanded levels, and full voice acting for all main characters. The title is now available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. As a bonus, players who own the remake of the first title in the series, PAC-MAN WORLD Re-PAC, released in 2022, can now unlock an exclusive TOC-MAN in-game costume.

In PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC, players step into Pac-Man's shoes as he runs, chomps, and bounces on his mission across Pac-Land, through classic platforming environments such as grasslands, icy peaks, volcanoes, ocean levels, and many more. Throughout his mission, he will encounter fun and challenging adversaries, including gigantic bosses, sent by the evil Spooky to stop him. The carefully remastered title adds new gameplay mechanics such as the Super Butt Bounce, Flip Kick, ice skating, snorkeling, Pac-Marine, and many more.

PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC also adds some new and updated bosses, new levels, and an improved Time Trial mode, where players can complete speed runs of levels to compete on global leaderboards. Other features that add unlimited fun and replayability include three classic PAC-MAN titles, the original PAC-MAN, PAC-ATTACK, and PACMANIA, playable in the Village arcade, as well as Gashapon machines, where players can spend coins earned in the game to obtain collectible figurines.

Originally launched in 2002, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC puts players in the shoes of the iconic character, engaged in a compelling mission across Pac-Land, which will lead them to explore six unique worlds as they confront the Ghosts and their evil boss Spooky. For the first time in the PAC-MAN WORLD series, PAC-MAN WORLD 2 Re-PAC also introduces a local cooperative mode for two players, allowing them to embark on this incredible mission in Pac-Land together.
