Octopath Traveler 0, Console Version Frame Rate and Resolution
Maximum power on PS5 and Series X. Some compromises on other platforms.

Dokidoki Grooveworks and Square Enix have confirmed the technical specifications for the various console versions of their Octopath Traveler 0. According to information on the game's official Japanese website, the PS5 and Series X versions of the new HD-2D JRPG will run at 3840x2160p at 120fps. Series S reduces the resolution to 1920x1080p at 120fps, while Switch 2 and PS4 will opt for 1920x1080p at 60fps. Bringing up the rear is Switch, with 1280x720p at 30fps.
Another interesting element is the number of buildings that can be placed in the city-building mode. PS5 and Series X|S will be able to accumulate up to 500, Switch and PS4 drop to 400, while Switch will be limited to 250. What do you think?
