Palworld Reaches Version 1.0: Trailer and New Features
The game has received many changes: let's take a look together
When it was released in January 2024, no one would have expected the sensational success of Palworld. Two and a half years later, this monster tamer has captivated over 40 million players and is finally ready to leave early access: its developer, the Japanese studio Pocketpair, announces the release of patch 1.0, the biggest update the title has received so far.
What's New in Palworld 1.0
The full version of Palworld adds a whopping 72 new Pals (to be precise, 47 Pals and 25 variants), bringing the total to 287. Two new mechanics, Awakening and Mutation, will help further strengthen the monsters. Players will be able to explore Sunreach, a new area consisting of flying islands, and The World Tree, the gigantic tree that towers over Palpagos and is a key location in the game's story.

Speaking of the story, the main one has been refined, but many elements of Palworld have been revised in patch 1.0: from areas to side quests, as well as the rebalancing of a multitude of factors. The player's level cap has been raised from 65 to 80. For the complete list of new features in Palworld 1.0, you can consult the lengthy changelog found on Steam.
