No Man's Sky updates with patch 6.2 Remnant
There's a planet to clean up… with the Gravity Gun

In August, No Man's Sky will turn 10 years old: the long journey of this sci-fi title began way back in 2016, with a launch that was anything but flawless. However, its developer, the English studio Hello Games, has continued to relentlessly support its work, and now comes yet another update, patch 6.2 called Remnant, which has… an ecological bent.
What's new in patch 6.2 Remnant
The main new feature of Remnant is the Gravitino Coil: this is a tool that allows you to manipulate gravity to grab and throw objects of various weights and sizes. Any reference to a certain Half-Life 2 does not seem to be coincidental. But what will we use this new technological discovery for? To manage toxic waste: in Remnant, players will have to work to clean up certain planets from this new type of object.

The Gravitino Coil is just one of the tools used to fulfill the mission: there is also a dedicated transport vehicle, the Colossus, made up of interchangeable and customizable modules. This vehicle can mount a visor, called the Cyclops Scope, which allows you to quickly identify alien fauna, flora, and minerals. The waste will be disposed of in special disposal facilities. If you want to consult the complete list of new features, you can find it on the official website.
