A classic action game from the Wii era returns to modern platforms

Muramasa: the Demon Blade is an action game that was released on Nintendo Wii in 2009. Set in a medieval Japan infested by traditional Oni demons, this title stands out for its at times enchanting graphics: if you're not familiar with it, we describe its beauty in our review. Developed by the Japanese studio Vanillaware, the game received a new edition on PS Vita, Muramasa Rebirth, with an expansion called Genroku Legends.
Muramasa: Revenant Blades
Vanillaware and publisher Marvelous have announced Muramasa: Revenant Blades, an updated version of the game for modern platforms. Revenant Blades will offer up to 4K resolution, a new combat system, and additional modes and options. The content includes both the base game and the expansion, so there will be six playable characters: the original protagonists Momohime and Kisuke, plus Okoi, Gonbe, Arashimaru, and Rajaki.
