Mouse delayed: the irreverent shooter slips by a month
The appointment with the 1930s cartoon-style game is postponed to April

We return to talk about Mouse: P.I. For Hire, a few days after having a close encounter with the boss Robo-Betty. This first-person shooter, with its ironic black and white cartoon atmosphere, could prove to be one of the surprises of 2026; however, if you are among those eagerly awaiting its release, we regret to inform you that you will have to wait an extra month before you can get your hands on the game.
The new release date for Mouse: P.I. For Hire
The game's launch, set for March 19, has been pushed back a bit: the new release date is now April 16, 2026. The platforms remain PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, PC (Steam, Xbox PC). Playside and Fumi Games say that the extra time will serve to make Mouse an experience to remember, but perhaps there is also a bit of fear for the concomitant arrival in March of Slay The Spire 2, a real bogeyman for indie titles.
