Minecraft Dungeons II Releases Today: Launch Trailer

Publisher Xbox Games Studios, in collaboration with developers Mojang and Double Eleven, announces the release of Minecraft Dungeons II, available starting today, September 29, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PC (Steam, Xbox PC) platforms, accompanied by its launch trailer. Naturally, as an Xbox game, you'll also find it on day one on the Game Pass subscription service.

The first Minecraft Dungeons, released in 2020, had a very keen insight: to take a genre usually considered difficult, like dungeon crawlers, and make it more immediate, stripping away its framework of assorted statistics and parameters. For the sequel, the developers were careful to expand the game's formula without sacrificing the accessibility that made the first chapter a success.
