Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Releases Today, Launch Trailer Unveiled
After a long wait, we finally meet Samus Aran again

It's been a full 18 years since the release of its predecessor, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, on the Wii console, and 8 years since the announcement of this new installment, but finally the wait is over: Metroid Prime 4: Beyond arrives today, December 4th, on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2. The release is accompanied by the launch trailer, which you can find below. This new adventure takes protagonist Samus to the planet Viewros, a jungle-covered world with an alien race on the brink of extinction.
In Gamesurf's opinion, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond honorably carries on the heavy legacy of the franchise, improving some aspects and demonstrating that the gameplay formula still has a lot to say after all these years. It's not a perfect chapter; there are flaws that prevent this title from reaching the heights touched by the first two episodes of the saga. We delve deeper into this in our Metroid Prime 4: Beyond review.
