The power of Grayskull returns to cinemas, but with an unexpected approach. The first full trailer for Masters of the Universe clearly shows that the film doesn't just rely on '80s nostalgia, but on a more concrete and surprisingly human reinterpretation of the He-Man myth.

The story begins far from Eternia. Adam Glenn, played by Nicholas Galitzine, is a young man trapped in a gray and repetitive life, filled with anonymous offices and unfulfilled dreams. It is this contrast that makes the moment he comes into contact with the Sword of Power even more potent: the transition to the epic dimension is not gradual, but violent, almost inevitable.

Epic, Muscles, and a Nightmarish Skeletor

The return to Eternia reopens family wounds. Adam discovers he was taken away as a child to save him from an ancient threat, and the reunion with King Randor and Queen Marlena adds a strong emotional component to the story. The transformation into He-Man is shown as an act of responsibility even more than strength.

A solid cast moves around the protagonist: Idris Elba is an authoritative Man-At-Arms, Camila Mendes a determined Teela, while Morena Baccarin gives the Sorceress a solemn aura. On the opposite front, Jared Leto stands out, playing a dark and brutal Skeletor, far from caricature.

Directed by Travis Knight, the film will arrive in Italian cinemas on June 4, 2026, promising a final showdown that looks to the future without disavowing the past.
