Mario Tennis Fever: All the New Features in the Latest Trailer
38 characters, explosive rackets, bosses, and many modes
We mentioned it a few days ago, and finally, here it is: the long-awaited trailer for Mario Tennis Fever. The next chapter in the Mushroom Kingdom tennis series is coming out in just over a month, but it seems to bring a lot of content on day one. The roster boasts a whopping 38 characters, the largest number ever recorded for the series, with new entries like Goomba, Nabbit, and Baby Waluigi, and further post-launch inclusions are not to be ruled out.
It will also be possible to equip 30 "Fever" rackets, which add special effects to your shots, to be combined with classic controls (even via motion sensors, if desired) to catch your opponent off guard. Among the modes, we find the usual tournament, special challenges, and numerous variations on the theme, including one inspired by the Wonder Flowers from Super Mario Wonder. Finally, there's an RPG-style adventure, complete with bosses, where you'll play as the Baby versions of the cast, and multiplayer for up to 4 players locally, online, and via Game Share.
