Pennywise is about to return. HBO and Sky are bringing IT: Welcome to Derry, the new prequel series inspired by Stephen King's masterpiece, to the small screen, arriving October 27 exclusively on Sky and streaming only on NOW.

The project, produced by Warner Bros. Television and conceived by siblings Andy and Barbara Muschietti along with Jason Fuchs, expands the universe of the two blockbuster films IT and IT: Chapter Two. Now it's possible to watch the very intense trailer. Set several decades before the events narrated in the films, the series will explore the origins of the evil that infests the town of Derry, revealing the secrets and first manifestations of the entity that will become the clown Pennywise.

A Journey into the Past Between Horror and Adrenaline Rushes

Bill Skarsgård returns to play him, joined by a cast that includes Taylour Paige, Jovan Adepo, Chris Chalk, Madeleine Stowe, and Rudy Mancuso. With a darker and visually ambitious tone, Welcome to Derry promises to blend King's typical psychological terror with the cinematic spectacle of the Muschiettis, who direct several episodes.

To celebrate the series' debut, Sky Cinema Suspense will offer a double feature with IT and IT: Chapter Two on Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24 at 9:00 PM, also on demand and streaming. A perfect opportunity to relive the struggle of the "Losers' Club" before discovering how it all began.
