Being considered a benchmark in an oversaturated genre like roguelikes is no small feat: Supergiant Games, the studio that captured the world's attention with the first Hades, succeeded. It goes without saying that the anticipation for the second chapter was feverish: released in May 2024 in early access, Hades II has now transitioned to version 1.0.

Hades II Patch 1.0

The trailer shared by Supergiant gives us a rough idea of its dungeon crawler's gameplay: we emphasize "rough" because it's such a vast work that it takes hours and hours to truly know it. Patch 1.0 introduced additions such as the true ending of the story, narrative elements for dozens of characters, various unlockable novelties (after hours of gameplay, of course), achievements, and more.

The Future of Hades II

Supergiant Games included everything they could in version 1.0. Now the developers' priority is to ensure things run smoothly, so the team will immediately focus on resolving any bugs by releasing hotfixes. After that… the studio will take some time to reflect and recharge: for now, it's still too early to talk about future support for Hades II.
