Goldrake Wins and Convinces: Sunday Slot Confirmed

That Goldrake was the most beloved by Italians, we had no doubt, but when it comes to television schedules, Italy is always an intricate maze. Therefore, when Rai announced that it would broadcast the first two episodes on Sunday, October 5 in the early evening slot, we couldn't be sure that they wouldn't remain "a one-off" simply to honor the series' 50th anniversary.

However, it only took 24 hours for the national network, seeing the truly encouraging viewership data, to acknowledge how much UFO Robot Goldrake – or Atlas UFO Robot or UFO Robot Grendizer or even Goldorak, call it what you will – was awaited by viewers, and with an announcement on the Press Office channel, confirmed the programming of the entire series.

Goldrake: Where and When to Watch It

The appointment with Goldrake is therefore every Sunday at 6:55 PM on Rai 2; all episodes will then be made available on the RaiPlay streaming platform.

When we say "all episodes," we are talking about the 71 original fully restored episodes, to which the 3 never broadcast in the 70s-80s have also been integrated, for a total of 74 – so we are talking about another 36 appointments that will keep us company until June 2026.
