Genshin Impact: New Outfits for Travelers
It's the first time since the game's launch
Genshin Impact debuted in 2019, and since then, miHoYo's Open World JRPG has achieved such immense success that it can be considered a true cultural phenomenon. We discussed all this and more in our Special Feature.
As a game with gacha mechanics, Genshin Impact boasts a roster of dozens of unlockable characters with which to compose your party, and new characters are introduced with each major update. For some of these characters, alternative outfits have also been introduced, some obtainable by completing specific missions or events, others by paying vulgar money.

Among all the characters, however, the Traveler plays a fundamental role, being the protagonist of the story. At the beginning of their game experience, players must choose between the brother Aether or the sister Lumine [the unchosen character will still be an important part of the game's plot]. For these two fundamental characters, strangely, no alternative outfits have ever been created...
...until now.
Hoyoverse has indeed announced that with the new update titled As Heaven and Earth Are Made Anew, it will be possible to obtain a new skin for your protagonist. Furthermore, this is a skin for which it will not be necessary to spend real money: to obtain it, it will be sufficient to progress in the Archon Quest [i.e., the main storyline of the game] until the event titled True Moon, at the end of which the outfit will become available.
The new Outfits, as can be seen, play on the inversion of tones between the two characters: if the original Lumine wore white and blue and the default Aether focused on white and brown, now the colors are inverted. There are also numerous changes to the clothing, which gives a feeling of greater "richness and prestige," perhaps even a greater maturity of the character, a sign that all the adventures lived did not take place in a few weeks but over years and years. As if that weren't enough, obtaining this Outfit will grant the Traveler a new talent called Foreign Windwrathil, whose effect will be to increase all elemental affinities.
After the end of PS4 support, Genshin Impact is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Mobile devices.
