Evil Dead Burn: Teaser Focuses on Domestic Terror
In the teaser, chaos erupts without warning in an enclosed environment, where tension builds

The first taste of Evil Dead Burn suggests a different direction for the saga. Distributed by Warner Bros., the film abandons classic isolation to shift the horror into a much more recognizable space: the family.
In the teaser, chaos erupts without warning in an enclosed environment, where tension builds through a long, physical, and suffocating single take. No explanations are needed: the danger is immediate and, above all, close.
When the Refuge Becomes a Trap
After her husband's death, the protagonist moves into her in-laws' house, seeking refuge in the midst of grief. But that familiar space quickly transforms into a nightmare when family members begin to turn into demonic creatures.
Here, the horror is not distant or impersonal: it has the face of known individuals, transforming every confrontation into something much more intimate and disturbing. It's a subtle but decisive change. If in Sam Raimi's The Evil Dead evil burst in from the outside, now it seems to be born within the relationships themselves. A choice that brings this new iteration closer to Evil Dead Rise, but with an even more intimate setting.
Director Sébastien Vaniek is clearly aiming for a physical and oppressive experience, supported by the intense presence of Souheila Yacoub. The goal is to strike the viewer not only with strong images, but with constant emotional tension.
The Italian release of Evil Dead Burn (La Casa: Il Rogo del Male) is set between July 8 and 10, but even from this first teaser, a basic promise emerges: less distance and more involvement.
