Endless Legend 2 Releases Today in Early Access

Publisher Hooded Horse and developer Amplitude Studios announce the release of Endless Legend 2, available starting today, September 22, on PC (Windows, Steam), in early access. Furthermore, the game is available from day one on the Game Pass service. Endless Legend 2 is a turn-based 4X strategy game, part of the Endless franchise created by Amplitude; this French studio became independent again in 2024, after being owned by Sega for eight years.

Features of Endless Legend 2

Endless Legend 2 takes place on Saiadha, a planet regularly hit by violent storms. These natural catastrophes represent both a great danger and a great opportunity for those who intend to explore its lands. Contending for these lands are 5 factions: Kin of Sheredin, Aspects, Necrophage, Last Lords, Tahuks. The factions are asymmetrical, each with its own strengths and weaknesses.

To make progress in Endless Legend 2, extensive use of weapons will be inevitable: players will have to lead their armies in tactical battles where factors such as terrain conformation, troop abilities, hero strength, and so on must be taken into account. Being still in early access, Endless Legend 2 has not yet taken on its definitive form.

The Future of Endless Legend 2

In the coming months, Amplitude Studios will refine its work and introduce additional content. The launch build lacks an essential mode for a strategy game like multiplayer, which will be added later. Among the major new features for the future of Endless Legend 2 are also a sixth faction, closely connected to the history of Saiadha, and the ability to create custom factions.
